As President of CCICC, I want to share with you the mission of our club:

- To promote an appreciation of Italian culture, language, literature, food and music;

- To promote an understanding of the fabulous and unique contributions Italians have made to this country;

- To support Italian/American community activities by sharing in one of the oldest and most captivating cultures in the world!

Our club has been active in North Carolina since 1975. We participate in many events throughout the year, including our very own Ciao, Italia! Festival! I invite you to come and 'mangiare' one of our world famous cannoli or sausage and pepper sandwiches! Delizioso!

We also hope you will join us at one of our monthly meetings where you can enjoy food, comradery and activities throughout the year.

A TRIBUTE TO COLUMBUS

Columbus Day is not only a day to pay tribute to a great man, it is also a day of celebration for everyone seeking to grasp hold of those great qualities which compelled Columbus to cross the ocean and bring this country to greatness.

Columbus is a figure out of the past, and also a symbol of the future. In him resided great faith, perseverance and courage. So should we embrace those qualities as America fights to maintain its greatness.
